Rules and Regulations

The Retired Faculty Association is an organization that operates under the nonprofit “umbrella” of the University of Southern California.  Its activities are governed by a set of Rules and Procedures adopted on April 11, 2014.

Officers and Board Members

A Board of Directors is elected by RFA members at their annual meeting.  To view the membership of the current Board of Directors, click: RFA Board Roster.  Board meetings are held on the second Friday of each month (10:00 a.m. to noon, usually in URC 102).  When circumstances dictate, alternative dates and/or rooms may be used.  Changes will be announced on this website.  All members of the Retired Faculty Association are invited to attend.

The RFA Board utilizes seven standing committees and two ad hoc committees to carry out its activities, several of which have been expanded in recent years.  All RFA members are encouraged to participate in the work of five of the standing committees described below.  Membership on the Executive and Nominating Committees is restricted to Board members. Administrative Support

Administrative support for activities of the Retired Faculty Association is provided by the Emeriti Center.
